LETTER TO DON AND MARION OLLER AND THE TENNESSEE FREEDOM WINGS

Ruthie and I want to congratulate you on the first class operation that you had with the Mousetail Landing Picnic.

            To start with, the motel that you set up for us was a very nice place and the management even gave us a reduced rate from the one that you negotiated.  Also, we were fortunate that Russ and Wanda Densmore were staying there, so we kept each other company.

            Then there was the picnic.  What a treat.  The food was great, the games we played for tickets, the bingo, the auction (so many prizes) were so much fun.  There were winners and losers at the auction, but by and large, we all were winners in the friendship we experienced.

            The campground where we visited with Ron and Gloria Mentzer, Chris and Karen Sheridan and Margaret Thweatt, Paul and Linda Tennyson and Dee Marett, was very nice.  Thank you folks for your hospitality.

            Lastly, one of Tennessee’s’ members passed us on the way home, and though I waved him on, he still called Don to tell him that we might have had a problem.  Don then called us to see if we were okay.  We thank that gentleman for caring. That is the A.G.W.A. way.
