MANY THANKS
Submitted by Joe Lopez, AGWA V.P.
There were many involved with making my trip to California an enjoyable one.
First I would to thank Deb Ford and Bill Naughton (Illinois “G”). They made their house my house. That meant a lot. Also, I would like to thank Sue and Chuck Mincks (Iowa “L”). Talk about Rolling out the Red Carpet. When I arrived at their home in the Cedar Rapids area, I didn’t know what to expect. I should have known better. They treated me like one of the family. The members of Iowa Chapter “L” as well made me feel right at home. Everyone was extremely courteous and Friendly. The breakfast the following morning at Amana Village, (I believe that was the name) was a feast. Thank you Iowa Chapter “L”. I would like to thank my friends in San Francisco, California, Ellie & Mike. Also, Barbara’s brother Chris and his lovely Wife Laurie. And last but not least, I would like to thank Chapter “D” in Indiana for doing such a great job. Greg and his crew did a lot of work and they pulled it off. The buffet was fantastic. I now wish I stayed an additional day for the poker run. Great job guys.
