Illinois Chapter “G”
Labor Day weekend 2003 took us on a ride to Springfield, Missouri for the International Motorcycle Drill Team Championships. Gary and Debbie Justus organized the weekend as a 5 day trip. This trip started out at the McDonald's in Marengo, IL at 6:30 AM. There were 6 motorcycles and 10 people on this ride.
Gary and Debbie planned a nice route that included a good blend of highways and country roads. We rode to Osage Beach, MO the first day and finished the trip the next day with a leisurely ride into Springfield. There was much to see and do both at the rally and in the Springfield area.
