My left side luggage compartment will not open. I'm looking for anyone who may have experienced the same problem and what they did to fix it. I pull on the lever and it gives no resistance and nothing happens. The right side and the trunk work fine.

I have an '07 which the same bag had this problem. There is a clip that the dealer needs to replace. Most dealers are aware of the problem and it's a 5 minute fix. You can also open the top trunk. There is a rubber grommet/plug on the bottom of the trunk towards the left front side (or side of the non-functioning saddle bag). Remove it and stick your finger in there to feel for a release button to open the side bags until you can get the problem fixed. I hope this helped.
